AOI OGRE AN-21

AN-21 is my favorite race car in Future GPX Cyber Formula, great power, nice design. It would be blowing my mind to drive it in real life. (not gonna happen, hehe) Local customs charge me extra on this Ogre DX set, makes this DX set the most expensive single Japan toys I ever get in my life, heartache... Why...?
Ogre ought to be best Cyber Formula race car in the anime series, even the driver of the race car call it a monster, probably why it call Ogre (in Japanese, it pronounce OR-GA [凰呀]). This formula's driver is Bleed Kaga, he use to be underground race car racer, but he manage to get in the CF championship by himself.
In the final season in Future GPX Cyber Formula SIN, he use this formula race car to defeat his arch-rival, Hayato Kazami(protagonist), and claim his first and final champion. (he retired after the race due to his sickness condition)

Front wing plate in circuit mode. There is a little uneven on the front wheels when settle on flat surface, I think the attached area is not even. (the wheels and the front wing remove together)

Booster area. The booster is kind of hard to stay still when open, the hinge is too loose, and it is hard to open during first time.

Cockpit cover can't open, it is fixed.
The cockpit cover is not clear enough to see the interior.

Drive shaft is painted in chrome silver color.
There is two holes at the rear end bottom, I think this is exhaust holes.

This machine is a cursed wild horse.

With a wheel cover to cover up the rear wheel. (in the anime, this wheel cover is form up by shape memory alloys, to make more aerodynamic streamline)
Variable aerodynamic, this is the car every sport car enthusiast needed. 😍

Aero boost mode 360 GIF. This boost mode had only not more than 20 seconds bursting limits, it needs to shut down after the limit.
It works like jet engine, with the booster engines raise up, and burst jet stream for more forward power.
Wonder how many power it produce on that four jet engines?
It look awesome from behind.
Final state of the boost mode, super aero boost mode 360 GIF. It can only activate when the final few seconds of the aero boost mode, about six or five seconds to burst.
Top. It is very dangerous to the driver to use this mode, especially Orge AN-21, Kaga can manage to drive this monster and win the champion, he is more than a great driver.
Bottom of super aero booster mode. The front wheels were push to the bottom of the nose cone area.
The front wing transform into formula powerboat like shape, kind of cool.

Side of S.A.B. mode, some of the front wing part cover the air intake.
Rear wheel front mudguard extended.
Back booster open up to burst more power. (actually the middle part should be open up another layer of the circle, make the spike part more exclude)

Bleed Kaga's figure. The face feature is really close to the anime, not bad.
Keep resisting to paint the hair into gold or yellow... Must resist... 😬
A very nice figure to include in this set.

The purpose of the figure's pose is let Kaga lean on Orge AN-21.
Come with a base plate to display Orge AN-21.
The inner piece of the box is the scene of the warehouse in the anime, very neat.
It makes a very good display background for the car. (Knight Savior version is race track road)

Knight Savior length can't even compete with Ogre's size when in aero mode!
