Cyclops/Scott Summers
When Scott and Alex were boys flying home from a family vacation in their father's vintage private plane, a scout ship from the alien Shi'ar Empire suddenly materialized and set the plane ablaze. Katherine pushed Scott and Alex out the plane door with the only available parachute. The parachute caught fire, so Scott used his mutant optic blasts for the first time to slow their descent.

Scott suffered a head injury on landing that damaged the part of Scott's brain that would have enabled him to control his optic blasts. The two boys were hospitalized and both suffered traumatic amnesia regarding the incident. One night, Scott woke up and destroyed the roof of the hospital with his optic blast. When Scott woke up again, a year had passed.

Scott was rescued from Winters' clutches and was enlisted by Professor Xavier as the first member of the X-Men, a team of young mutants who trained to use their powers in Professor Xavier's dream for human/mutant equality.

In the School for Gifted Youngsters the X-Men were tutored by Professor X and trained in the use of their powers in the Danger Room. Xavier provided Scott with a visor made of ruby quartz to help him control his powers in the field. As Cyclops, Scott became deputy leader of the X-Men. While he was a skilled tactician, Scott's social skills were lacking. Scott had fallen in love with his teammate Jean Grey, but his reserved demeanor prevented him from expressing his actual feelings for her.

Cyclops 360 GIF.

Close up on Cyclops handsome face, head sculpt is really nice, the ruby visor is painted in gold color, which look better than just yellow, like it.

Close up on the torso, the utility belt is too long, belt buckle suppose to be position below the blue area, but instead it cover the groin part. 😕

And the belt is a bit crooked and too thick, I don't think the belt will broke easily if it is thinner.

Legs is pretty basic for this figure type, they just add up some belt parts for this figure. And those belts are really annoying, always fall to the bottom of the legs by my 'gentle' touch, sigh, I try several types glue, but the leg surface is too slippery, in the end, I use super glue to do the job, permanently. 😣

Head can turn side to side 360 degree.

And the head backward/forward movement is pretty good.

Over 100 degree angle elbow fold.

Waist swivel and abs crunch is good, but the belt will be in weird position if using the abs joint.

Utility belts is removable to show the base figure, actually most of the belts on the figure is removable, and this Cyclops figure is same body type with his brother, but in yellow underpants, lol, looking sexy. 😂

Hips ball joint can go up to 90 degree angles, knee and ankle joint is doing good too. There is a swivel joint on the lower leg. (still need to complaint about the middle part of the joint, those soft plastic is too soft, those limbs can't even stay straight when posing, even the Colossus have the problems with those soft plastic, it is beyond fixable)

This figure posing ability is quite good, I am glad I got it in my collections, the overall sculpting really brought up Jim Lee's design. (by Hasbro standard)

Comparing with his brother, Havok. Cyclops share the same body type, just a little more parts than Havok.

Compare with 1994 (I think so) Toybiz Jim Lee Cyclops, my ancient boyhood toys that kept in my big plastic container in my storeroom. It's sad I can't find those accessories come with the old figure.

There is design changes on the back, two belts to one belt, haha. At the time, I was very impress with the light up feature on the old figures, Optic Blast! Optic Blast! Can't believe this action figure is 24 years old! (mind blow)

Compare to the 93' Toybiz Uncanny X-Men Cyclops, oh my... Retro and nostalgic...

That light up button is huge, like those old light switch, not sure the battery in the figure is rotten or become something else...

Three Cyclops line up. I play that two old figure quite some times, it worn out a bit, it's cool I still have them.

My all X-Men line up comparisons. (I pick out Spider-man because he not always in the X-men school)

Optic Blast!
The left hand gesture is very suitable for optic blast pose, but sadly the figure doesn't come with other hand gesture.

The captain of the team X-Men.

THE X-MEN!

I like to see the team deploy from the blackbird on the air, they look awesome.

BROTHERS.

They became enemies.

FIGHT!
Cyclops is good in combat skill, he is an alpha level mutant, but he got no super human strength or others, so he have train constantly to keep up his skills.

Gene Splice! (Cyclops uppercut)

Optics blast attack!

Cyclops win! (that time, I play so much Marvel VS Capcom, I mostly use Cyclops and Wolverine, but I am not the best among my friends, lol)

Rivalry? Cyclops VS Wolverine!? (for a women, Logan? Jean is not meant to be with you, there is a lots good women in Marvel Universe, go get them, bub...)

When Jean Gey come back as Phoenix, Scott is shocked, because so many has change...

(bonus) I didn't compare the old 93' Toybiz Wolverine with the new Wolverine last time, you can see the figure modeling skills is evolving so much between 24 years, the old cool action figures has become history over the time.

I am hoping Marvel Legends series will release the yellow costume Wolverine on future X-Men wave, not that I don't like the new Wolverine, just the yellow one is my favorite, please--- Hasbro, do it for yellow Wolverine fans sake...
And my old Wolverine figure has worn out a lots as I play this figure so much, woa, memories...

Thanks for watching!
