The stories between this 30MM series

Several decades have passed since the "skyfall" when a space transition gate (gate) suddenly appeared on earth's orbit.
World conflict is still taking place everywhere, but the birth of a weapon changes the tactics of modern combat.
The emergence of the extended armed and modular combination system, commonly known as "Examax"
In the blink of an eye, I changed the military balance of the world.
The end of 2XXX.
Again, a space transfer gate (gate) appears on earth's orbit.
Emerging from the gate was the Byron, a planet similar in appearance to Earthling.
The Byron army starts attacking each country with "Porta Nova", which is similar to Examax.
The countries in dispute formed the Allied Forces of the Earth.

The battle of the Earth Allied Forces and the Byron Army is cut off and dropped.

What is this mecha called?

Examax (or Examacs)
(Extended Armament & Module Assemble & Combine System)

(Extended Armed and Module Assembly and Coupling System) Initial "EXAMACS"
Each part of the airframe is modularized, and each part of the airframe is replaced according to the environment,
It is an aircraft equipped with a system that can cope with various war situations.

The change and expansion of the ability by the replacement of parts is the true point of the exam.

Details of The eEXM-17 ALTO (Allied Earth Forces)

So far there are three colors of the ALTO model kits, I got all of it, number 1 white, number 2 Yellow and number 3 blue.

This Alto is lack of many types of equipment, so, Bandai 'Tamashii' releases the optional parts separately(and multi colors) to squeeze your money, hahaha. Of course, you can use the other weapons from Gundam model kits like the IBO weapon sets, etc, it fits well, but it is in 1/144 scale, not suitable for other scales. But I will not talk about this optional sets in this post, I am leaving it to the next post, I want to focus on the main figure for now.

This is all the contents in the box.

So, there will be an instruction menu, plastic runner 'A', runner 'B', runner 'C', the soft plastic PC-7 parts and the dry decals.

I like how they colorize the instruction menu, Bandai Spirits line up the runners' parts to make the user easier to search the parts, speed up your assembling. (to get into the battlefield much faster?)

ALTO [WHITE] in 360 GIF.

The model kit itself stands around 4.8 inches high, it is a little bit shorter than normal 1/144 scale MS. By my calculation, the 1:1 scale ALTO will be around 17 meters high.

When I first saw the head design, I immediately think of Genoace Custom from Gundam AGE.

The back of the head. (I didn't do much on trimming the excess plastic on the plastic figure)

The torso looks simple and nice with sculpted details on it, not bad.

The mid-chest piece is removable for chest armor add-on, even the peg holes are sculpted with details.

Peg holes are also on the back of the figure for attaching backpacks or other future add-ons, it also compatible with some of the Gundams backpacks.

Close up on the arms, the arm is only thirteen pieces of parts.

Two peg holes on both arms for optional parts. (hope Bandai will release some awesome weapons for this peg holes)

The backpack looks a lot like Gundam V-Dash. The hole on the thrusters is also peg holes for attachments.

Instructions menu also says it can stack multiple backpacks on the first one, really cool.

Head can move forward till this angle, thanks to the neck piece, backward movement is reasonable, the head can turn 360.

Elbow joint can fold more than 120 degree angle, the hand is on a ball joint, shoulder armor is independent from the shoulder joint, it can lift up to this angle. The shoulder is on double joint, it can swing forward 30 degree angle.

The ball joint is behind the rib cage, it is kind of tight, but I thought this design would give more articulations, apparently it is not. Waist can turn 360, and it can move forward-backward a bit if lift up.

The legs do really well on articulation, except it can't fold to the abdomen, the hip joint can swing forward 90 degree angle. The knee joint can fold all the way to the end, very cool.

Ankle tilting is not a problem for this figure, ankle forward-backward movement is not bad too.

The whole figure is very stable, it can stand very steady even in this pose.

This is the swing down joint that giving the hip joint more articulations.

Without the swing down joint, the hip joint can't swing forward more than 45 degree angle, the right leg is without using the swing down hip joint.

The drone for ALTO.

It is only three plastic parts for this assembly.

Normally the drone will store on ALTO hips like this.

I think they will drop the drone like this to deploy into a battlefield, for scouting purpose or for remote explosive.

I thought I found a secret about the ALTO head is exchangeable with the drone core, apparently, the instruction menu did show it is exchangeable.

After the head change, I wonder where should I put the spider legs on? Like this? (as super comm unit?)

The submachine gun, basic equipment for the ALTO unit.

The stock is on the one side of the gun, rare design, odd but pretty cool.

The submachine gun is actually a base for attaching many kinds of attachments.

The submachine gun can store on the backpack, I like it, but if the thruster is firing, won't the thruster burn the gun? Btw, the drone can't store on the hips if the gun is on the backpack.

Don't know how to call this weapon, a brass knuckle? Or a hilt punch? But sure this is a hilt for the optional weapon sets, it can combine to a sword or axe for sure.

Parts can change positions as you like. (with those optional weapon parts, it got even more combinations)

Full arm ALTO.

Yellow, white and blue ALTO.

Mixed colors unit. With a weird backpack. (EMP Emitter?)

Close up on the dry decals for ALTO. All numbers, no logo or other things.

Compare with Zaku II F2. ALTO is shorter than the Zaku II F2, so, if the Zaku II 1:1 scale is 17.5 m, the ALTO must be 17 m high in 1:1 scale.

Comparing with Mobile Suits series MS, ALTO is the shortest among the MS.

The 1/144 scale White Base MS Hangar 'bed' is suitable for ALTO.

The space in the bed is just the right height to let the backpack pass through.

"Aruto Waito, ikimasu!"

Dual submachine gun.

Gun Kata (Equilibrium) style shooting.

Drone deployment.

Enemy detected!

Enemy MS in contact!

Close combat training with ALTO Yellow!

"Team, hold your position!"
