Captain Phasma and The First Order.

Captain Phasma 
was a female Captain of the First Order. She served as part of the unofficial commanding triumvirate for the First Order and their Starkiller Base operation, taking charge of the command of the First Order's stormtrooper soldiers. During the First Order–Resistance conflict, which took place 30 years after the Battle of Endor, Phasma served alongside the dark enforcer Kylo Ren and General Hux in their efforts against the Resistance.

Without cape.

Not much different from the normal Stormtrooper, except the helmet and extended lower leg.

Height is around 6.4 inches.

Close up. The helmet is a lot different from FO Stormtrooper. There is a molding line between the face, kind of destroying the perfection of it.

The streamline on the helmet add a lots characteristic for Phasma.

Articulations of the neck, can turn 360 and angled that high. It is really weird that they didn't do the chin under the helmet...

Arms articulation is not bad, but without chest forwarded joint just like FO Stormtrooper.

There is two ball joint on lower chest and waist area.

Knee joint can't folded all due to the armor design.

"I surrender!" At least the figure can do this pose.

The only weapon for Phasma, a very cool rifle like modern carbine.

The color on it is kind of special, like how it done.

"I got big axx rifle, what you got!?"

Really cool to hold this rifle.

Comparing with SHF FO Stormtrooper without cape.

Not as tall as in the movie. (I haven't watch the movie, sad...)

The height of Phasma figure is build by the extended leg.

Compare to Kylo Ren, he is quite tall.

Height comparison of my SHF Star Wars series. Seems like Darth Maul is really short in this series, the shortest among them. Clone Trooper is actually almost same height like FO Stormie.

I kind of like the actress who play Phasma, Gwendoline, I mean the character she play in Game Of Throne.

I hate J.J. Abrams gave this kind of storyline to this character in episode VII, just like bounty hunter Boba Fett in episode VI, not really much achievement in the movie, hope Phasma can do better in episode VIII.

"Yes, I did it!" Kylo. "Oh my, I am so shy. He finally ask me out..." I think they have some relationship some how... Lol.

I got myself a Captain Phasma cardboard cutout, hehehe, cool. (unfortunately I got only one... Thanks to my friend who help me out!)

The First Order Stormtrooper.

Stormtroopers 
also referred to as First Order Stormtroopers, were the military infantry units of the First Order. With their stark white armor, inspired by older designs utilized by the clone troopers of the Old Republic and the stormtroopers of the Galactic Empire, this new generation of stormtroopers was one of many symbols that the First Order derived from the fallen Empire. Armed with powerful weapons such as the F-11D blaster rifle and SE-44C blaster pistol, they served as the enforcers of the First Order much like their predecessors had done under the Empire. As soldiers they were trained from birth, given unit designations instead of names, and subjected to years of propaganda to ensure their loyalty and obedience to the First Order.
Approximately thirty years after the Battle of Endor, stormtroopers fought for the First Order in a conflict against the Resistance. By then they served under the command of Captain Phasma, a veteran officer who also served in the First Order's commanding triumvirate with General Hux and Kylo Ren. The objective of Phasma's relentless training program was to produce the finest soldiers in the galaxy—promoting ruthlessness, yet also improvisation on the battlefield, therefore, making the First Order stormtroopers more dangerous than their Imperial precursors.{from Wookiepedia}

 The shape of the chest armor look better than The Black Series, TBS version have only the flat chest, SHF version is barrel shaped, look more bulky.

 Neck articulations, dual ball joints, upper ball joint can turn 360, but lower ball joint can only reach 20 degree turn.

 Most of the joints on arm is not bad.

 But the shoulder area can't move forward like SHF Kylo Ren.

 Waist area with two ball joint. (notice the helmet are totally hollow, kind of weird for SHF)

 Lower ball joint can turn full circle, but upper ball joint articulation is limited.

 Even the pouches on the belt come with joint, for better thigh articulations.

 This is the maximum articulation of the leg, it is a bit of limited because of the armor design.

 Reasonable articulations for this action figure. (like Japan gangster)

Height almost reach six inches. (compare with Kylo Ren, I forgot to measure Kylo's height on last post)

 F-11D Blaster Rifle, standard weapon for FO Stormtrooper.

 I like the detail of the blaster, but the scope is kind of crooked...

 With fold down handle for more stability.

 This figure can aim up like real person.

 Very cool rifle, makes me want to get the E-11D Nerf gun.

 "Sir, I have visual on multiple Resistance suspects, request back up."

Comparing to The Black Series FO Stormtrooper.

Scales is close, can pretend as different height Stormtrooper.

It's easy to see which one is better on detailing and qualities.

Even posing is more natural than TBS version.

Compare to SHF Clone Trooper.

I still prefer the Clone Trooper armor design.

Fully evolve Stormtrooper armor, completely different techs. (this Imp Stormtrooper is Bandai 1/12 scale model kit, hope can get SHF version someday)

But still can see some old Stormtrooper shadow on new armor.
