Can't find the details stories about this BB-03 series stories, but least to know that it is the third production of the robot manufacturer (judging by the number 03), and it is type gorilla, makes it much smarter then the previous dinosaur version. And the name JOJO I think is because it's unit number is 99, in Chinese, 9 is sound like jo (//ˈjō/), this probably how its name came from.

The toy maker makes three different theme(colors) for this new BB-03 series, the basic version (orange and blue), the phantom version (neon blue like D10 phantom) and the flame version (red and blue with flame decals printing, kind of look like movie Optimus Prime). I choose the flame version because it look so cool and I can pretend it is Optimus Primal, haha, Primal with flame decals, how cool it that? He can be in the next TF new movie! 👍😂

The BB-03FJ box and the contents in the box. Box arts is really nice, I like it a lots, and the packaging is different from the tradition toys packaging, they did put a lots of efforts in this toy.

Really nice flame decals printing on the figure.

If all parts fit in place, the cube can stand like this.

Can see some frame behind the cube, the hole on the hip looks like peg hole for something to plug on.

With a clear box to store the cube, very nice details.

It can be stacked up and bottom, side to side.

And it open up like so, like the cube can slide down from inside.

It has been given a clear plastic card for putting into the clear case to make the cube pop out, like a spring pushing the cube out, but not really useful for me. (I appreciate they do something like this)

My clear casing for D10 is close fit to Jojo, very nice.

Compare to D10 and D09, it's clearly that Jojo is bigger than D10 and D09.

Many peoples thinks the new Beast Box figures price are expensive than before, most of them are dissapointed, but the truth is, the new one is bigger than the old one.

Transformation begin!
First, flip out both arms from the cube.

Fold out the shoulder piece(red shoulder piece) to the back of the chest, and pull out the head.

Move the cube lower section to the chest position until it clicks, it form the abdomen, pull out the forearms.

Fold down the chest armor, and position the head like so.

Slide the back blue armor piece down to the hip joint.

Fold out the leg piece.

And extend the thigh. (the red dots will go into the hole)

Flip out the light silver color feet. (have to use fingernail to do the job, because you can't pull the feet to flip the silver hinges piece, the feet will pop off)

Close up on the head. Head is in triangle shape, kind of like the gorilla. Some machine details is showing under the chest armor, it is actually from the abdomen section, very nice design.

It's like avoiding things if the chest piece is fold up, lol.

The arm design is also very nice too, but the elbow joint is very loose, it is also the joint for sliding out from the shoulder.

There is actually printing on the stomach, some kind of screw printing.

The back piece that for sliding the hip armor, it look good, like some restraining parts.

Head is on ball joint, but some of the movement is limited.

Shoulder is on ball joint, it move well, but the elbow joint is very loose, not easy to stay up in position, luckily it doesn't need to hold any weapon.

Legs got a ball joints on the hip part and the feet part, the knee joint is hard to move due to its tightness, it doesn't do any good for posing too.

Beast mode comparison. BB-03 is not taller than the BB-01 series, but it is a lot wider than them.

Compare to Figma. I like to display them with Figmas, look kind of fun together.

Stack up containers(cube).

Almost forgot, this box also include a collection card, with some stats and pictures. The back of the card written: Arms are the strongest weapons and defense of JOJO, no one can afford a punch from him. The best way to facing him is running away since the feet are weakness of JOJO.

Kirino is waiting for her beloved brother after school, I think Kirino is going to the haul some H games again...

But her brother Kyosuke doesn't show up, Kirino is really angry about it.

Something is sneaking behind her...

Kirino feel something behind of her.

Suddenly the thing show up in front of her! That thing is Ghost Dog!

That thing wants to chew Kirino's school bag.

It jumps towards Kirino!

Kirino using her school bag to block that monster.

Jojo show up behind them, and saw the whole thing.

He is thinking to save the girl from danger.

Jojo move up to them and punch that thing.

Ghost is not happy about this...

And it attack Jojo!

Earth crush!!

Left heavy punch!!

Jojo wins! (??Fighting games??😕)

After the fight, Jojo get close to Kirino, but Kirino is afraid of the ape robot. Kirino, he wants you to befriend with and pet Jojo...

Ayase and Dio show up. It is actually Ayase who ask Jojo to looking out for Kirino, she is worry about Kirino. Kirino also appreciate what Jojo do to save her, she is petting Jojo, haha.
