Hot Rod

Arcee also serves as a calming influence on Hot Rod, and tends to either worry about him when he is not around, or deride and tease him when he is. Their relationship is antagonistic, but friendly. Exactly how deep Hot Rod's feelings for Arcee might run is unknown.
In contrast, his Rodimus Prime persona - while still headstrong and stubborn - seems to suffer from a severe lack of confidence, often doubting his own decisions and expressing distress over his position as an Autobot leader. Of course, much of this comes from comparisons with his former commander Optimus Prime - and let's face it, shoes-to-be-filled just don't get much bigger than that.

There is two pegs for Titanmaster to stand on.
I like the design that the knee turn the air outlet. But there is one flaw on that area, the exhaust pipe can't close off, because the nails on both knees are too protruded. I knew many owners got this problems, it is minor engineering flaw, sad...
Very nice design of the car, my all time favorite vehicle in G1 series, so as this Titans series, it is like more updated and upgraded G1 version.
My Hot Rod's canopy is a bit harder to get completely close, I don't know is it normal to others?
The combined weapons can plug on front engine cover to be a turret.
(There is a question bugging me, wonder this alt mode is front engine (FR) or mid engine (MR)? The exhaust to the side indicate this is a front engine car, but the shape and rear exhaust of the car show this to be a mid engine car... Maybe it is a dual engine monster?)

Close up on Hot Rod. I got this Hot Rod months ago, the chest paint is easily chipped off, the silver color engine block are worn off too.
Big huge yellow wing on the back, like G1 version, kind of like trade mark. But the shoulders are to huge, is hard to see the wing from front.
The six big exhaust pipes flipped to the back of the lower leg.
Head can only turn 50 degree, the hinge piece is in the way.
Shoulder joint is acceptable, but the elbow joint articulation is weak.
Waist swivel joint can do 360 rotate.
The knee joint is limited by the back piece on lower leg, but the piece is moveable.
He can do the kneel pose if the lower leg back piece is move away from there.
Dual guns for Hot Rod, in pearl silver color.

This two guns is a little big for Hot Rod.
Hot Rod can hold the jointed weapon.
Weapons can store on robot mode. It is like huge shoulder exhaust for Hot Rod, haha.

Henkei version red color is a bit darker than TR version.

The chrome gold wing on Hot Rodimus is so awesome, but I hope it won't fall off soon. I don't think TR version will look nice on this chrome gold.

I have handmade a face piece for Hot Rod to look like IDW version, hope in future I could get a spare Hot Rod head piece to modify to IDW Rodimus version.
