RX-82 GUNTANK ONSLAUGHT
RX-82 Guntank Onslaught
is a prototype humanoid main battle tank(MBT) developed from Earth Federation Space Force(E.F.S.F.), a long-mid range mobile suit suitable for battle in space. It is the experimental humanoid battle tank between range of RX-75-4 Guntank and D-50 Loto, the purpose is to create a high mobility tank to fight in mid and long range. Total three units were ever built, manufacturing around U.C. 0081~82, in the end, two was destroyed in the battle, one heavily damaged. EFSF never reproduce this model again in the future due to technical issues, later Guntank II continue to serve the line in battlefield.
I built this 3D model week ago, built time was about six days including my work days, this is my own design, the design ideas was most of it doing in my brain, some of it on the paper. I research data online for the more legit stories setting of the tank, hopefully the back stories of the tank won't crash the original stories much, I am making it kind of like from MSV storyline.

Upper torso. The chest is purposely design like the RXR-44.
Caterpillar front and rear legs unit, independent transmission system on each of the leg unit, kind of like four wheel drive.
The lower gun grey cylinder thing is back jet thruster and waste gas exhaust tube.
Lower back section, with two jet thrusters, and the two back caterpillar units is movable piece.
The arm without the bob gun unit, the hand is a typical MS parts, easy to replace, and suitable to equip variety of basic weapons.
Weapon equipments on this RX-82.
Two sets of 220 mm low recoil cannon.
Two sets of dual tube bob gun on each arm, removable for easy maintenance.
Fifteen tube rocket launcher each on both side of the shoulder.
YHI 6ML-79MM rocket launcher unit split out and put on each side of the caterpillar units, should be call YHI 4ML-79MM x2 now, the rocket launcher is actually standard heavy arms of RX-79(G), now four rockets equipped on each side of the rear caterpillar legs.
Grenade launcher on each side of the back, use for launching smokes or flash grenades.
Beam saber under the forearms, for close combat use, removable.
Sidearm of the Guntank Onslaught, a Type 37 100 mm machine gun, a standard machine gun from RX-79 (G) MS series.
This sub machine gun it's like a sidearm for jet fighter pilot, but now for this Guntank.
This Guntank can stand up like in the picture shown.
The standing mode is mostly for MS close quarter combat.
The Guntank can attach a carry deck on the crotch area, it is optional parts for tactical use.

Purpose for carrying tactical military personel in the deck, just like the Guntank variant in Thunderbolt, maximum capacity 6~8 persons.
Total three prototype units were ever build, tested and later two destroyed.

RXR-44 is surprisingly small compare to RX-82 and GM. (I make the sizes of RXR-44 and GM according to the official specification)
Compare to RXR-44 tank mode, so as the car. My Guntank Onslaught is gigantic compares to them.
Fighting with Zakus in a defend battle, Zeon MS infiltrated the city, this prototype unit forced to defend this area.
This unit 1 depleted its ammunition, the pilot detach all the attachments on the mobile suit and chose close combat battle.

This old model MS-05 isn't an opponent of the new Guntank, the beam saber went through the Zaku.
Unit one simply turn around and swing the saber, the second Zaku become two pieces.
