GODBOMBER/GOD GINRAI/SUPER GINRAI

Godbomber

is a product of the super-science of the planet Master, created by the Autobots to serve as a personal power-up for their leader, Ginrai. Godbomber is merely a drone with no spark of his own, animated by Chōkon Power drawn from Ginrai himself and responding to the Autobot commander's emotions and needs.

Godbomber is also equipped with cargo space to carry the Transtectors of the three Autobot Headmaster Juniors, who can drive the drone from his three-man cockpit and animate him by uniting their own Chōkon Power.

Godbomber is composed of multiple component parts, which disassemble and reconfigure into his assorted modes. His components include the "God Wing", the "God Punch", the "God Legs", and the "God Breast", which connect to Ginrai to transform him into God Ginrai. Godbomber and God Ginrai both wield the mighty God Cannon.

It looks very different from G1 Godbomber, but at least it is partformer like the old one.

There is three slots for putting Headmaster in the cockpit, I am thinking the interior details is designing like in G1 cartoon.

The front panel, no control panel details on it, but the H slot is a seat for Headmaster in base mode.

The seats are a little narrow for those Headmasters, haha.

The peg post hinge joint under God Cannon is loose and the ratchet is a bit misplace, it is hard to position the right angle for the cannon and hard to place on the truck too, the two cannon on arm can lift a bit, probably for base mode use.

Godbomber truck sure connects to Ginrai truck.

If according to cartoon, Godbomber suppose to be twice the length, but instead the manufacturer make the truck short like G1 toys, it looks like baby truck now, haha.

Flip out the connector beneath the bumper(crotch armor) for connect Ginrai truck.

The connector is just connected to the rectangular hole behind Ginrai truck like in the picture. (need to separate the back of the trailer and close back tight after it plug in)

Flying mode for Godbomber?

It is a shame that Godbomber can't separate the 'God Wing' out for winged Super Ginrai, I really like make scene that Ginrai carrying Godbomber truck on sky.

Fully weaponize base. This is a weak base mode, it doesn't really hold straight, kind of flimsy.

The helmet is totally separated from the Godbomber torso, sure a partformer.

Trying in different Titanmaster/Headmaster heads. The helmet is bigger than other one in new TF series, kind of like wearing a mascot doll head.

Soundwave face seems look ok for this helmet, in fact, it look not bad in most other Voyager and Leader class figures.

Sixshot face also not suitable for this helmet.

This time I try Godbomber face on other torso, Godbomber seems a little shy on others transtector, lol. It actually doesn't fit well in this helmet, Godbomber's face is longer than other.

On Soundwave transtector, like somebody lower his helmet and acting cool.

Can't even see the eyes in Super Ginrai's helmet. (I keep this parts after I swap the PE-15 upgrade kits, it's actually very nice original parts, just the eyes of Ginrai doesn't show very well)

The front parts look almost like G1 Godbomber.

And of course the back shows the truck front. (I have a thought about Godbomber's back long time ago when I was kid, isn't when enemy attack Godbomber's back, those Junior Headmasters will know? Like eyes on the back? Lol. "Hey, stop, We see you---!")

Arm section. Godbomber is very bulky, almost looking weird, but it is actually not a box shapes forearm, it is 3+1 piece panels that can open-flat parts.

Lower leg is just a block that can separated from thighs, not many details.

Not much details on the back of the legs, except of the inner part of the legs.

There are many weapon ports on Godbomber, 11 peg holes and 4 peg points!

Head can turn 360, thanks for zero percent obstructed shoulder.

Elbow joint is very loose, can't even hold up the God Cannon, and the wings is also a big problem to hold that position, it doesn't have any friction or level to stay there, it is annoying when moving the shoulder joint, the wings will follow the shoulder and swing together, a big sigh. But it can fold up to 90 degree angles, thanks to the transforming style the wrist can fold in like so.

I will give this a nice compliment, the wrist comes with a swivel joint, this should happen on other TF figures. (because some of the TF figure's wrist parts is bigger than this one, but no swivel joint...)

It doesn't really hold the hilt, it just plugged on a protruded rectangular peg, it is a tight grip on the weapon if fully plug in.

The swing out hinge on the hip is also a loose joint, don't know why they didn't do ratchet joint on this part, they do it by riveting, can't even modified it or 'supergluing'.

Luckily they make tilting joint on the ankle, its help a lots for posing.

God Cannon. (full parts)

All parts separated.

The God Cannon only needed the missile on robot mode.

There are Titanmaster/Headmaster seat in the cannon.

And the cannon can fully close to hide the Headmaster.

Two of the four weapon peg point is on the cannon.

This sword doesn't show in Masterforce cartoon, it only show up in Victory series.

The missile can plug on the back end to become part of the hilt, it looks completed now. (because the hilt can hide under God Cannon plugged with the missile)

It holds firmly for Godbomber.

GODO SWORD!?

The Evil Godbomber shown in the LG-42 Godbomber's instruction menu comic. It is very cool that Godbomber comes with Combiners connector ports under the thighs, it is able to connect any Deluxe class combiners. 👍

The chest part is broad like old G1 version, but it looks nice.

Headmaster can sit in the chest like in the cartoon series. (the later version of Takara God Ginrai sets will include Minerva and Carb, sigh, business practice... Got to get Shuta-Go to form full sets for those hardcore fans)

Back. Godbomber's helmet is simply just plug under the backpack like so, it is very loose, it sure fall off when playing the figure.

God punch armor cover up Ginrai arm, it fits perfectly, but the armor is a little loose, easy to open up one of the panel accidentally.

Thats why it needs the truck panel to cover the back piece of God Punch.

Those lower legs looks perfect if the figure stand straight.

And the male connector is tuck in into the back of Ginrai's ankle.

Full arm God Ginrai, Super God Ginrai? Looks kind of cool, right?

The elbow is a bit obstructed by the add on parts, but it is still posable.

One of the most annoying/complains flaw on God Ginrai, the tilting joint of Super Ginrai, it looks really weird on God Ginrai.

The connector ports on God Ginrai is in an open position, you can still plug Combiners on the ports.

Another example to connect the ports.

The hilt is too small for Ginrai to hold, it wiggles a lots, don't why they do it like that.

The blade is a bit loose, just a few wiggle, it fell away from the hilt.

The real God Ginrai! There is a way to make the wings lower, the original wings position is annoying to look at, luckily it got method to improve the look.

It is a little complicated to use the method(if no instruction), and a bit risky to damage the toy too, but the result is good. There are several other way to put the connector port, but I like it this way, because I still can put Combiners on those ports, and it looks much cleaner.
