(Mods) LEGO City Space Exploration 60078+, Advance Utility Shuttle.

The original Utility Shuttle is too short for a being shuttle, I bought two sets of 60078 to extend the ship. It looks normal now. Not like 60078 is no good, but it is too small in the space shuttle line, a little disappointing to show out for displaying, and play in hand(for AFOL, lol). I am satisfy to modified this shuttle, looks handsome enough now, worth it to get two box of 60078.

60078+ Advance Utility Shuttle.

 Not much different on the front section.

 But it is a lots different on side panel.

 Extended shuttle body, more space, improved aerowings.

 The tail remain same design like 60078.

 Side view, longer body, better storage.

 Looks a lots different from previous Utility Shuttle.

Added side fin for more maneuver. (lol, like I am talking about real shuttle)

 Modified wing.

 Modified garage interior.

 Added details refer to real space shuttle.

Not much change, just added a piece of 2x2 dbg round brick.

 Use 1x1 round plate to cover both holes on backpack.

 Looks more completed.

 Add flash light for the male astronaut.

 Look more like space explorer now.

60078 Utility Shuttle

Astronaut #1, Male.

 Side. With technic pin hole on the backpack, for space gears use.

 Bottom of the backpack with two holes, can attach more parts on it.

The face of the male astronaut, normal minifig smile face. I like the chest printing details, very nice.

Back with logo printing too.

 Kind of weird when I first time saw this space suit design years ago, it make the minifig bald. (male is ok, but for female...)

 Not much different between this two astronaut, only the face is different.

Space shuttle, front.

A really nice shuttle, but it is too short. Need some modification.

I like how the space logo stripe is following the red stripe from the side panel.
