Swoop
is the friendliest and most outgoing of the Dinobots. He's surprisingly good natured, kind, and upbeat. Few of his comrades realize this however, as his team's reputation and his alt-form, considered (for some reason) particularly "horrifying" to Transformer aesthetics, makes others wary of getting close enough to learn about the bot himself.

Swoop is an excellent aerial combatant and bombardier, and has become skilled at using the fear his alt mode creates in battle. He considers it his greatest weapon. Like all the Dinobots, Swoop tends to be arrogant, disobedient, and generally disagreeing with Optimus Prime's leadership style. He's also a bit of a show-off.

Swoop dino mode 360 mode.

Top of the dino mode. A lots of molded details on the Dinobot, especially on the wings.

The lower jaw of the dino bird is openable.

Wings can fold like so and the head can look forward when standing.

There are two holes at the groin area for display stand, but the holes is loose.

Elvis's wig? This is suppose to be on the robot mode, but instead I try on the Dino mode, haha.

Compare to other series figures in alt mode. The wingspan is wide!

Close up on the face. (the face sort of look like Easter Island stone statue...)

The molded details on Swoop is my most favorite in POTP series, really like the feel holding it, like some exquisite items.

Flip on the beak to become Pterabot! The chest is actually hollow, the combiner peg is visible in the hollow area.

Combiner peg is flip out from the back. Sadly that the rivet hold the right wing is broken, wing is loose, can't hold up anymore. (I am temporary using tape to tighten the peg to hold the wing)

Totally fall off from the main figure, sad... (to cause this damage maybe because I keep all my POTP figures in one container(four figures in total), all the figures press together to the side of the wings and force the rivet fall off, never happen before to my other TF figures, or other action figures) The qualities of the metals from Hasbro is very bad, especially screws, it wear out just one time unscrew the screws.

I found out the other side of the rivet is also damage, hope it could hold the wing longer.

My favorite molded details is on the legs, so details, like some very hi-tech stuff.

The back of the legs. Hasbro sure trying to hide those hollow area, not so visible.

Head can only turn 90 degree, forward backward movement is just a little bit.

Shoulder ball joint and elbow can go only 90 degree, got bicep swivel, no wrist swivel joint.

Waist can turn 360.

Leg joints works fine, nice hips ball joints, more than 90 degree knee joint, no tilting ankle joint, just forward backward.

Swoop's red sword. The wing missile is not include in this new version, I really hope they could make some guns/swords for all Dinobots.

The peg on the sword is compatible to the display stand peg hole on the hip.

But the groin display stand holes does not hold the sword tight, and it look really weird at that position too, haha, just trying.

Prime armor mode, another absolute weird gimmick of this latest series, not a fans of this.

In combiner arm mode. His body is quite flimsy, look kind of hollow from this angle.

Swoop's combiner mode looks good, maybe because those details on the figure?

In leg mode. The knee hinges is hard to collapse, they making it too stiff.

Back. Swoop's hips joint doesn't lock tight in the combiner mode, it will wiggle when posing the whole combiner figure.

Comparing to other series figures. His size is same as normal combiners.

Stand between Power Of The Primes series figures.

Two Decepticons are planning to stole the energon storage in the Autobots Energon storage, they saw Dinobot Swoop is guarding the place...
"Isn't that the Dinobot?" Offroad.
"Yeah, with two of us, that fossil won't get a chance!" Skullcruncher whispered.

"Surrender, Dinobot!" Skullcruncher yells, Swoop caught surprise for the Decepticons ambush.

"What? You try to defend yourself with your tiny red sword?" The Decepticon mock Swoop choice of the weapon.

Swoop appears to be very angry and punch straight to Skullcruncher face!

The sword seems very dull and it hit Offroad's head hard!

...and whack Skull by his red sword...

After awhile, Slag came by. "Swoop, Grimlock ask me Slag come change shift.", "Hey, what are you doing?", "Me chilling, Slag. Me hunting before now."

"Hunting? What hunting?" Slag confuse.

"Me Swoop caught puny Decepticon and big crocodile!'' Swoop seems very happy for what he just did.

"Me change shift, Slag stay here, me bring crocodile back home..." Swoop carry Skullcruncher on his shoulder and went back to base. Hope Skullcruncher is okay after this... (lol)
